        • Commercial Event Permit: AED 5,000 + Structural Fees AED 1,000 (if applicable). Examples include entertainment, sports, charity, religious, or business events.
        • Additional Fees: AED 10 as “Knowledge Dirham” and AED 10 as “Innovation Dirham” per transaction.
  3. Venue Approval:
    • The planners must Secure approval from the venue, including obtaining a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the venue management to ensure compliance with safety and capacity regulations.
  4. Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Planners must follow the local health and safety regulations, including those set by the Dubai Municipality and Environmental Health & Safety authorities. This includes ensuring food safety, crowd control, and emergency protocols.  
  5. Insurance:
    • Planners could obtain public liability insurance to cover potential risks and liabilities associated with the event.
    • Special Licenses:
      • Depending on the nature of the event, additional licenses might be needed, such as:
        • Entertainment License: For events with live performances.
        • Liquor License: If you plan to serve alcohol, obtain it through the venue or a licensed distributor.

  • Sharjah:
    • Coordinate with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) for event permits and ensure compliance with cultural norms and public safety standards.
